Small Town Glory Part I

Mini winter getaway.

As a winter person, there are so many reasons to love the season. The cold, that crisp morning, the snow and winter light; I personally think it is so beautiful to photograph.

On this trip we decided to go down south from Sydney; Bowral - Bundanoon - Jervis Bay - Geroa were the main towns we visited.

On the way down to Bundanoon, we decided to stop at Bowral for coffee and lunch. We went to this beautiful antique shop called Dirty Jane’s. I was mesmerised by how beautiful the collections are.

After Bowral we head down to Bundanoon and stayed there for a night in a camper van. It was so beautiful and cold down there. It was so cold, the next morning I woke up it was on 2 degree Celsius. I love it, just need a little time to get used to it, I guess.

I also made a couple of new friends; Brutus and Sylvester ( I can’t remember the name of the cute withe dog). Brutus is the bigger dog that look kinda like Pitbull and he’s my favourite. He loves cuddles and prawn crackers. <3

In the afternoon we left Bundanoon for Jervis Bay. We decided to stop at Fitzroy Falls on the way. I was trying to take some photos there but it was kind of challenging since it was so windy and cold. Most of the photos I took turned out blurry. :(
So, we did not stay there for too long, we decided to go back to the car very quickly for some heated seats in our amazing Ford Kuga.

We arrived at Jervis bay just after lunch time. Went to a local pub for lunch then went for a walk around the area.
We had a really nice walk enjoying the sunset at Plantation Point. The pink hue on the sky that day was on point.

The next day, we woke up early to see the sunrise at Hyams Beach then head to The Historic Lighthouse. We were planning to wake up earlier to see the first light, but I forgot to charge my phone and I missed my alarm! (I was pretty annoyed). Thank God we woke up just before the sun gets too bright.

Special thanks to Ford for the amazing Kuga!

RAW Showcase (June 2016)

On the 17th of June 2016, I participated on RAW Sydney and showcased some of my work to public. It was my second (public) exhibition.

I was quite nervous to start with because I was not sure what I wanted to do for the night and I also had to prepare a lot of things beforehand. Plus, I got really sick a week before the exhibition and recovered just 3 days before the show. Seriously, I was running around like crazy to get my sh*t sorted.

On the night of the exhibition, I was glad because I think I prepared things well. Could do with some improvements here and there, but I am really really happy with the outcomes.

Thanks to my family, friends and Jamie for the support that night.
